The Role
This is a hands-on creative role for a student who wants real portfolio work at an established gaming studio, with a strong focus on User-Generated Content. You will work closely with our Minecraft Development Team to create models and art for expansions on Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition for our games and server partners.
You don't need to do everything to apply for this role. Some of our team are strongest at 3D modelling, some at 2D pixel art, and some at animation. Tell us what you're best at, as we're looking for a mix of skills and will shape the work around your strengths.
Hours are flexible and fit around your studies. They start small, and as projects land there is as much work as we have available and you want. To apply, fill out the form at the bottom of this webpage with your CV and (if available) Portfolio. If you would like an informal chat about the role first, we are happy to arrange one.

On occasion we animate our custom models within BlockBench. These can be simple 'bobbing' effects to multi-key animations.
- 04
Design Input & Iteration
Use customer feedback to revise and improve your work throughout the production cycle. As your experience grows, offer input on design for feasibility, accessibility and visual impact, and help shape our in-game sub-brands and project identities where relevant.
