Lincoln Be Smarter Grant Propels Synx Games into Roblox's User-Generated Content Platform

LINCOLN, ENGLAND -- Lincoln-based game studio Synx Games today announce that it has been awarded a Lincoln Be Smarter grant as it expands its operations to join the Roblox® user-generated content (UGC) platform.
The grant will create multiple student jobs in Lincoln and expand the company, allowing Synx to invest in developing new Roblox® games, research into growing technologies such as AI and acquire new computer hardware suited for Roblox Software Development.
In an era where more gamers' are moving towards the UGC platform, Synx will join an exciting and new realm of opportunity and innovation through Roblox with 190M+ monthly users interacting with the platform in February 2024. Synx recognises the potential of the platform to not only entertain but create large communities across the globe.
About Synx Games
Synx Games, formed in 2022, is a start-up game studio based in Lincoln, England. With its roots in Minecraft, the popular game published by Microsoft®, Synx has developed and operated multiple successful multiplayer game servers, including EnchantMC and NobleRealms, amassing over 200,000 unique players worldwide.
Synx is based at the University of Lincoln's Sparkhouse business incubation centre and has been supported by the University's business support programme. The Company have significantly invested in the local community, creating multiple student jobs and internships for University of Lincoln students.
